What is a Smart Object in a mockup?+
It's the layer your design goes into. In Photoshop you double-click it, paste your design and save — the mockup then bends and shades it. Without one, there's nowhere to put the design automatically.
Is my PSD uploaded anywhere?+
No. The file is read inside your browser and never leaves your computer.
My PSD has no Smart Object. What now?+
You can add one in Photoshop in about five minutes — see our guide “Turn any photo into a PSD mockup”. Or upload the plain photo to Setmock as PNG/JPG and drag the design area onto it.
What does “warp preset” mean?+
Photoshop can bend a Smart Object with presets like Arc or Flag, or with a custom grid. Custom warps are followed exactly; presets are placed with the right position and perspective but without the preset bend.
