Upload your mockups, show where the design goes, and make your first set of listing photos.
A template is a group of mockups you use together — for example “Comfort Colors — white” with a front view, a flat lay and a close-up. You set it up once; after that every design goes on all of them in one click.
1. Create the template
- 1Go to Templates and click Create Template.
- 2Give it a name you'll recognise, then drop in your mockups — PNG, JPG or PSD.
- 3Click Continue to placement.
2. Show where the design goes
- 1For each mockup, drag the box onto the print area. It snaps to the centre (hold Alt to place freely); arrow keys nudge it, Shift + arrow by 10 px. Corners resize, the top handle rotates, Shift keeps proportions.
- 2Same shirt in other colours? Set one, then Copy placement to other mockups.
- 3Photo frame crops the finished photo (1:1, 4:5, 3:4, 2:3). Drag the frame or its corners, then Done. Your original stays untouched — pick Original to undo it.
- 4Pick a sample design at the top right (or upload your own) to see how it looks.
- 5PSD mockups are set up for you — the design lands on the Smart Object automatically.
- 6Click Save Template.
Use Print look → Realistic on photos of fabric: folds and shadows show through the print.
3. Make your listing photos
- 1Click Batch on the template (or open Batch at the top).
- 2Drop in one or more designs.
- 3Click Create — then Download all for a ZIP with every photo, named and ready for Etsy.
